Junior Electrical Engineer (f/m/d)

eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.  

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team in Siegen.  

Responsibilities: 

As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems across all our facilities. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:  

• Supporting facility management, including installation and maintenance  

• Maintaining and optimizing infrastructure systems (e.g. humidity, ventilation, power supply) 

• Documenting and monitoring facility systems, including commissioning support 

• Designing and assembling electronic boards and/or subsystems 

• Testing and debugging of electronic boards and/or subsystems  

Required skills 

• BSc/BEng in Electrical engineering or equivalent 

• Practical experience with electrical installations 

• Basic knowledge of facility infrastructure systems 

• Proactive, hands-on working style and willingness to work on diverse projects 

• Skilled in practical, hands-on work
