eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Project Manager (f/m/d).
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Hardware Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development of high-performing, scalable systems that are essential to successful product delivery. You will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet both technical and business goals. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:
Classic project management in the development of quantum high-tech hardware systems
Planning, controlling, and monitoring along the critical path
Managing timelines, costs, and resources across all project phases
Coordinating across disciplines, teams, and external partners
Leading technical development projects
Managing customer and research projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Steering international, interdisciplinary teams in close alignment with executive leadership
Job requirements
Required skills:
Several years of experience in technical project management, preferably in mechanical engineering, hardware development, or a deep-tech environment
Technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent)
Proven ability to lead complex projects in a structured, pragmatic, and clear manner
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, teams, and partners
Excellent command of German and English
