eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.

We are looking for a Process & Quality Manager (f/m/d).

Responsibilities:

As a Process & Quality Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of end-to-end quality and process frameworks for our quantum computing systems. In this role, you will ensure our machines are efficient, reliable, and scalable while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. You will collaborate closely with our international team of physicists and engineers from different disciplines. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:  

  • Build and implement robust quality and process frameworks from the ground up for quantum systems

  • Define, enforce, and continuously improve quality standards across design, manufacturing, and operations

  • Analyze operational and system data to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and support decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes are applied effectively and continuously optimized

  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as machine uptime, failure rates, yield, and process compliance, to inform strategic planning

  • Lead initiatives in continuous improvement, risk mitigation and process standardization

Job requirements

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in process or quality management roles (5+ preferred), with proven experience building frameworks from scratch

  • Hands-on experience with complex or precision systems, ideally in R&D-intensive environments

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving

  • Pragmatic, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset

We Value

  • Specialization in Quality or Process Management

  • Experience in industries such as Quantum Computing, Microelectronics, Medical Devices, Automotive, or High-Precision Manufacturing

  • Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
