eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.

We are looking for a Requirements Engineer (f/m/d).

Responsibilities:

As a Requirements Engineer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for establishing and managing a structured framework for requirements engineering. You will collaborate closely with our international team of engineers and physicists to define, document, and refine system and sub-system requirements, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap and project milestones. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:

  • Develop and manage a structured requirements engineering framework, including tools, processes, and best practices

  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define, document, and refine system requirements, ensuring they meet both technical and business needs

  • Align requirements with the technology roadmap, ensuring updates are synchronized with project milestones and stakeholder expectations

  • Facilitate requirement discussions and alignment across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring consensus on project direction and scope

Job requirements

Required skills:

  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field

  • 3+ years of experience in requirements engineering within multi-disciplinary tech teams

  • Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Jira, and structured documentation methodologies

  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to drive discussions and alignment

  • Basic experience in project managenent and process optimization

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex requirements and contribute to solutions

  • Self-starter with a proactive, adaptable, and results-driven working style
