Project Manager (f/m/d)

eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager (f/m/d), you will play a key role in supporting the development of high-performing, scalable systems that are essential to successful product delivery. You will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet both technical and business goals. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:

• Own and oversee technical project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure successful outcomes

• Report on project progress, challenges, risks, schedules, and budgets to stakeholders

• Combine agile and traditional project management approaches to achieve short-term objectives and long-term goals

• Streamline and optimize project management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and quality

• Effectively allocate resources to balance detailed oversight with rapid progress toward milestones

• Lead and support international, cross-functional teams transitioning from research to engineering roles.

Required Skills:

• A technical degree, with a focus on quantum computing, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of proven experience managing projects in technical or complex domains, preferably in an international and multi-site environment

• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented approach and flexibility to thrive in a multicultural, interdisciplinary setting

• Proficiency in English and German for business communication
